This will be the first annual Women in Trade Day to be recognised and celebrated across the globe and Quiet Mark is proud to have been invited to be one of its Supporting Partners.

On Tuesday 14th June, 2022, NBS held a webinar titled, ‘Third Party Certification Explained’, and kindly invited Quiet Mark to be on a panel, alongside the Centre for Assessment and  British Board of Agrement (BBA). 

Quiet Mark was delighted this year when our CEO & CoFounder, Poppy Szkiler was invited to join the esteemed panel of judges. Quiet Mark was also the official partner of a brand new category for 2021, 'Best Sound Innovation in Everyday Life': ‘Recognising a new technology, appliance or technique made public in the last year that has improved the sound of something experienced in everyday life’.

Every year NAS holds the John Connell Awards 2021 at the House of Commons which are open to local authorities, industry and organisations throughout the UK. The awards recognise innovative services, campaigns, products and programmes that are shining examples of community co-operation, education and creative solutions to solving noise pollution problems. 

On Friday 24th September - 15.30-16.30, Quiet Mark CEO & CoFounder, Poppy Szkiler will be one of the expert panellists at Toxic Cities; one of the Planted Unearthed talks 2021 - Hosted by Oliver Heath. Planted is the first contemporary design show reconnecting people and spaces with nature. Taking place at King's Cross, London 23 - 26 September 2021.

Quiet Parks International awarded Urban Quiet Park status to Hampstead Heath in London on July 18th, World Listening Day. The Noise Abatement Society, which works closely with UK government, local governments, industry, academic institutions and the public shared this award.

BBC's Technology Reporter, Zoe Kleinman, visited Quiet Mark’s Founder and Chief Executive, Poppy Szkiler, at the Quiet Mark lab to learn about how Quiet Mark certifies products.

Throughout the day on 31 May 2021, footage from the visit was featured on BBC Breakfast, BBC National News and BBC World News. The feature also included interviews with Noise Abatement Society CEO and Quiet Mark co-founder, Gloria Elliott OBE, the National Autism Society Head of Campaigns, Tom Purser, and John Lewis Technology Director, Laurence Mitchell.

This brand-new online platform will further equip and empower architects, builders and designers with a guide to expertly verified leading acoustic solutions for every building application area.
